UGGS Sponsored Funding and Awards

We are done with our travel and student group grant awards for this semester. Our next funding cycle will be this coming fall, with the application deadline around the end of September 2007.

We will not consider any application before that time.

We recommend you read through all the policies and guidelines for the grant(s) you are applying for prior to submitting your application, to ensure that you have completed your application to the best of your ability. These grants are competitive, and for the next funding cycle we expect to distribute approximately 40 total awards out of the approximately 200 applications we estimate we will receive.

UGGS offers funding for academic conference travel and graduate student groups, and also gives out outstanding TA awards and Service awards.
